Having served four years with a steadfast focus on serving our community, I know I am the right person to represent the North San Rafael district and to continue serving as your Councilmember.

My level of engagement and responsiveness in the community speaks to my passion for San Rafael. I respond in meaningful and actionable ways to issues being raised locally by San Rafael residents and community advocates. My areas of focus continue to be wildfire preparedness, affordable housing, addressing homelessness and advocating for older adults.

Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority - My dedication to preparing for wildfires is exemplified by my service on the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority, ensuring our city is equipped to mitigate risks and protect our residents.

Affordable Housing and the Homeless - Affordable housing remains a top priority, recognizing it as a cornerstone for community stability. Addressing homelessness is not just a moral imperative but essential for the well-being of our city. By working collaboratively with stakeholders and implementing evidence-based solutions, we can make tangible progress in this area.

Advocating for Older Adults - My commitment to our older adult community is unwavering. I am part of the "sandwich generation" where I have kids in their 20's and parents in their late 80's. I've experienced first hand the challenges of caring for older adults, working with caregivers and preparing for their security and safety.

What's Next

Building upon my tenure as a two-term San Rafael School Board Trustee, advocacy has become ingrained in my approach to public service. I believe in amplifying the voices of all residents, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed. By fostering inclusivity and engagement, we can create a more vibrant and resilient community.

I will continue to speak out against antisemitism and hate speech in all its forms, and ensure that San Rafael remains a welcoming community for all… one where the city leadership has the backs of the entire community against hate. I will work for ALL of San Rafael, and for all our residents.

My vision for San Rafael is one of safe, sustainable, and thriving neighborhoods. I am dedicated to empowering residents to actively participate in the democratic process, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in our collective future. Together, we can continue the legacy of excellent public service, providing the resources and support necessary for every resident to flourish.
